Why hello there! Wow, I'm surprised you made it this far! Let's skip the cheesy ice-breaker, shall we?
Hi, I'm Eugene Ross. I'm a 16 year old combo of a web designer and developer, living in beautiful sunny Florida. I spend most my days on the basketball court shooting some hoops, but as a collective hobby I enjoy website design and development. I spend most of my down time on an iMac developing sites, giving them an eye appealing touch. Likewise, I love spending time on Call of Duty: BlackOps rounding up some kill streaks.
Besides doing this by myself, I am part of an international web agency formed by young people like me. We call ourselves 5 Lines Creative. We specialize in making world class websites at affordable prices for the good of the public. Currently we have three people included in the group. One in Switzerland, one in England, and me in the good 'ol USA. To find out more information on who we are and how this all started, check out this post.
While I am an active kid with a love and passion for sports, it goes the same way for the online world.
I have been in this business for about four years and counting. All years consisting of me lusting after web standards such as HTML5 and CSS3. While being both equally confusing I dabble in PHP and WordPress — The tool that runs this blog. Hopefully by the end of this year I will have a stable knowledge in Python. But hey, who knows!
Aside from technology, I enjoy spending time with my family and my two golden retrievers, Moose and Rocket. Each are civil pains in the you-know-what, but I love 'em to death! They are both on the opposite of the color spectrum for retrievers. (Picture coming soon!) Moose is 8 while Rocket is 10. Their favorite treat is a McDonald's hamburger, just thought to let you know.
I think that's enough information about me for now. If you feel that it's appropriate to, or you want to know about top secret projects I'm working on, you should follow me on Twitter. If you find that you enjoy my work, don't be shy to contact me, I don't bite.
